Mifflinburg’s Recycling Center is located at 6 Industrial Park Road (at the west end of the borough). Traveling west through town on Route 45, after passing Route 104, turn right at the next Red Light (Industrial Park Road). The Recycling Center is on the left.

All other drop-offs will be considered littering and will be subject to fines.
How to Prepare Items for Recycling:

Additional Guidelines:
- Only listed items may be brought to the recycling center.
- All items must be sorted prior to arrival.
- You are responsible for unloading your recyclables.
- Place recyclables in the appropriate collection roll-offs.
- Any unacceptable items brought to the recycling center must be taken home with you.
Brush Recycling
The Mifflinburg Brush Pile is located at the Recycling Center, west of Mifflinburg on Industrial Parkway. It will be open May thru November. Items will be accepted on the first Saturday of each month. Hours of operation are from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.
Any resident who wishes to use the brush pile will have to provide a current utility bill as proof of residency. There is a limit of one pickup truck load per month per household. This will run on a first come, first serve basis. There will be no drop and go loads allowed.
Borough Staff will be on hand to direct you where to place your recycling and to assist in the unloading of your vehicle. For your safety, only Borough Staff will be allowed to place items into the chipper.
The following items will be accepted at the Mifflinburg Brush Pile.
ACCEPTED: Brush, branches, tree limbs and tree trimmings only. Note: tree limbs will be no larger than 4″ in diameter and no longer than 6 feet in length.
NOT ACCEPTED: Garden residue, leaves, twigs, vines, soft stemmed plants, weeds, grass clippings, tree stumps, bushes with roots, roots, dirt, rocks or soil debris. No building material or scrap lumber.
