Mifflinburg Borough Council has recently determined that since this month’s electric bills reflect usage for the cold weather snap experienced in February, that they will permit customers to make written payment arrangements for up to 3 months for this billing. Customers interested in this offer will be required to come into the Borough Office during normal business hours and sign written payment arrangements for this bill.
Customers are reminded that if they fail to make the agreed upon payments, normal collection procedures will apply and further payment arrangements will not be permitted. All other monthly bills shall be handled following normal collection procedures.
Additionally, Borough Council will be waiving all penalties for March 2026.
